DIY – how to take care of your heels

Hello ladies,

I just wrote “ladies” just because most of the time we are the ones dealing with this problem for the whole year. In cold seasons our skin is dehydrated and in the others among this, comes the important fact: summer:) At this point, we are dealing with shorts, skirts, slippers, sandals and who wants to see (or feel) some cracked heels….well, you guest….nobody!

I think all of us know how to treat their own heels, from scrubs to hydration, but I am coming with a DIY ( do it yourself) that I have tested for approximately six months and know I am seeing the results.

You have to  mix:

  • 10 drops of Geranium essential oil
  • 10 drops of Tea Tree essential oil
  • 10 drops of Peppermint essential oil
  • 5 drops of Lavender essential oil
  • 1 tsp. vegetal pure oil ( I am currently using coconut oil)

After mixing all of these, use 2-3 drops (or as much as you need) every day and night massaging your heels. Before this, try to put your feet in warm water with some Epsom salt and scrub them with a sugar scrub. I will post the recipe as soon as possible🙂

You can also try to put this mix into a normal hydration cream, but I have discovered this oils and their benefits and I am just enjoying them. Well and its fun to try to do this on your own and for a long period of time becomes cheaper. The extra thing you will need is patience!!!

Please keep me up to date if you tried this!

P.S I am using the doTerra essential oils from here because I find these pure and good for my family. You can decide for yourself! This is my experience.
